The olympic flame is displayed at the Japan Olympic Museum in Tokyo from 01st September. The lantern turned into introduced throughout a unique ceremony prepared through the Tokyo 2020 establishing committee. It will continue to be there until 01st Nov 2020.

The Olympics this year was postponed due to the ongoing Covid 19 Pandemic and has now been declared by Olympic committe to be held next year same time and starting same day.
Following the postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Games, the Olympic flame will be spending a record amount of time in the host country. The flame was lit in Ancient Olympia earlier this year and travelled from Greece to Japan; this display will be a valuable opportunity to further share the Olympic ideals while raising awareness about the Tokyo 2020 Games.
